A Philly Tradition – The Mummer’s Day Parade

January 2, 2014

I finally attended the Mummer’s Day Parade this year! A January 1st tradition here in Philly, The Mummer’s Day Parade is one of the oldest folk festivals in the nation. Read the wiki about the history of this parade here. Maybe next year I’ll be more involved, but for now I enjoyed just being in the crowds and watching all of the colors and Philly pride everywhere. Enjoy the photos of this classic Philly tradition below!
