So I’ve been in a state of transition lately. A fellow #bossbabe friend of mine mentioned that I may be burnt out from the two years of freelancing, and I think she’s right. One of the downsides of being an entrepreneur is the reality of the work. Creativity takes energy, and if you’re not careful with how you balance your life, you may find yourself in a slump. That’s how it felt for me recently. My brain needed a recharge, and I needed a new muse. Something or someone to inspire me to keep on chugging through and not give up when I resent entrepreneurship. A muse to spark that TNT in my ambition again, so to speak. Have I found that certain muse? Not exactly, but I do know that talking with friends in similar situations is very therapeutic, especially for someone who works solo all the time. I’ve decided that I don’t want to dive back in my workload too quickly because I’ll probably just feel burnt out again a few months from now. It’s time to take my life and business to the next level, and here are some of my new, attainable Get Shit Done (thanks Meg!) goals. Wish me luck. I’ll need it.
