Melissa Alam is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, brand designer, and photographer based out of Philadelphia. She works with creative entrepreneurs and bold brands to create, design and execute strategies that increase sales, gain more exposure and empower communities. Melissa is also the brains behind FearlessCon, an annual conference held in Philadelphia that hosts inspiring panels and business workshops for women who get sh*t done. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Breakout, a foundation that helps communities thrive by providing unrestricted funding to local changemakers.

A self-proclaimed #ideaholic, Melissa was the founder of the first all-female co-working space in Philadelphia called The Hive in 2014 (now closed), and launched a successful digital media platform for ambitious women called Femme & Fortune. An educator at heart, Melissa has also taught Social Media as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Arts.

When she’s not busy staring at her computer screen, running around the city meeting with clients or buying last-minute event supplies, Melissa can be found at random open mic nights doing stand-up comedy or traveling the world one cheap one-way ticket at a time.
